Tucked away just off Gateway on 10347 80 Ave NW, it definitely gets the title of a golden spot in Edmonton.
Fresh Hawaiian style donuts, coffee and Espresso made with Aloha. It's all in the name really - Ohana means family and this has a lovely story written on the walls of how it all began!
The space is so open and airy, and the perfect place to hold meetings, team builders and birthdays! They have opportunities for you to rent the whole store out and host your own Luau or reserve a table for your next donut inspired birthday.
We made the most of a middle of the day friend date, and tried the specialty donuts that are cooked to order. You can even head to the back of the store where there is a viewing window for you to watch your donut being made. How cool is that?
And this would definitely make a fun experience for your little ones to not just get a donut but watch it being made too!
The staff were so friendly and the manager explained extensively the products and what they had to offer so we could made the perfect choice.
If you need something savory to start off the Donuterie journey, they have hot dogs at certain times of the day too, and a long list of teas and coffees as the perfect accompaniment.
And let's get to the Donuts! The stars of the show! My friend date picked the donuts made to order, where as I indulged in the mini donuts that were pre-made.
Vanilla donut with a raspberry drizzle, and a chocolate sprinkle! My favourite. And these did not disappoint, it was delicious.
And the specialty strawberry daiquiri made to order donuts along with a chocolate covered chocolate cream filled donut. They went down a hit too.
